A graduate student of Architecture at the University of Waterloo, Zak Fish holds both the University of Waterloo President’s Graduate scholarship and the Ontario Graduate scholarship. He is currently the executive Director of the Waterloo Architecture BRIDGe initiative that is working to provoke engagement between the University of Waterloo school of Architecture and the local community. In 2010 Zak’s body of work was published in Portfolio, by DAMDI in Korea and additional individual projects have been published in the Globe and Mail, and broadcast on the CBC and OMnI Television. Building on previous exhibition work at the Toronto Harbourfront Centre, Gladstone Hotel and Cambridge Galleries, Zak recently ran a symposium on Architectural exhibition in Cambridge, with international speakers. He has won several awards for his professional work at architectural firms in Toronto, New York, Amsterdam & Nicaragua.
