Daniel Malka is a Toronto based designer and a graduate student at the University of Waterloo, School of Architecture, with a professional background in digital animation and media design. He studied Environmental Science and Human Biology at the University of Toronto, and holds a Bachelor of Architectural Studies from the University of Waterloo. Dan’s research investigates computational strategies for utilizing simulated territorial systems as frameworks for design exploration. In addition to his thesis work, Dan is a regular contributor to the Soft Data | Hard Design research project at the University of Waterloo.
