Similar to the original Rain Room, the project aims to create an amplified experience to the environment. Human presence (interactions) prevents the rain from falling. The goal is to explore the relationship between human and nature as it becomes increasingly more mediated through technology.

The project creates a 2 dimensional graphic representation of rain (nature). The intensity and direction of the rain is based on real world weather data. Similar to the Rain Room, the user (human) is able to interact with the rain, which responds by disappearing around the user (mouse screen location) as it senses the user. The project includes a 7 day forecast option, the user is able to select the day, and experience changes to reflect the real world forecast. (The day buttons change to reflect the day of the week when running the app, the first button always reflects the current day).
